ThredUP, the online children’s consignment shop, is running 10 days of giveaways right now. Today is Day 3, which they’re calling “random cart giveaway.” You shop today and you’re entered, although the site doesn’t exactly explain what you could win. I’m guessing it’s something you just bought, for free? OK, I admit it, this post is a flimsy excuse to remind you that if you open and account through my affiliate link, you get $10 off your first purchase, and I’ll get a $10 credit.
Oh, and here’s a question for you: Do you thrift shoppers ever put anything second hand under the tree for your kids? While I would not give someone outside the family something that’s not new with tags — unless they were into that kind of thing like I am — but for my kids I have made several thrift store purchases that they will receive on Christmas. For my 5-year-old, I got a used but still very sparkly pair of Skechers at Goodwill for $4.99. For my oldest, a wooden weaving loom! I saw it in the window of an upscale thrift yesterday, for $10, and I just had to get it for her. I’m very excited for her to open it.
