ThredUP “Random Cart Giveaway”

ThredUP, the online children’s consignment shop, is running 10 days of giveaways right now. Today is Day 3, which they’re calling “random cart giveaway.” ¬†You shop today and you’re entered, although the site doesn’t exactly explain what you could win. I’m guessing it’s something you just bought, for free? OK, I admit it, this post is a flimsy excuse to remind you that if you open and account through my affiliate link, you get $10 off your first purchase, and I’ll get a $10 credit.

Oh, and here’s a question for you: Do you thrift shoppers ever put anything second hand under the tree for your kids? While I would not give someone outside the family something that’s not new with tags — unless they were into that kind of thing like I am — but for my kids I have made several thrift store purchases that they will receive on Christmas. For my 5-year-old, I got a used but still very sparkly pair of Skechers at Goodwill for $4.99. For my oldest, a wooden weaving loom! I saw it in the window of an upscale thrift yesterday, for $10, and I just had to get it for her. I’m very excited for her to open it.
