Top Deals From the Nov. 13 Sunday Chicago Tribune

Here are the top deals in this week’s Sunday Chicago Tribune. My favorite is the $10 off a turkey coupon at Dominick’s, and the Jewel $10 off turkey coupon from p. 17 of the Tribune. Time to start hunting for scrawny birds!

(Update: I found a Jennie-O turkey for $14.35 at my little Jewel, or $4.35 after the coupon. At Dominick’s, I noticed that they have turkey roasts for $9.99, and the Dom’s coupon does not specify a whole turkey like the Jewel coupon does.)

This week there is one RedPlum and one two! SmartSource inserts, and a General Mills insert.

RedPlum has a section of Unilever coupons ($1 off Vaseline lotion, free pasta with 2 jars of Ragu), $5/2 Diageo liquor products (Jose Cuervo, Captain Morgan, Johnnie Walker, Ketel One, Smirnoff, Tanqueray), $5/2 various wines, and $1 off DiGiorno. And a bunch of other coupons that I didn’t think were that exciting, of course.

In the SmartSources, you’ll find another $1 off Land O Lakes coupon (I need to get over to Food 4 Less to use mine this week),

For a full list of SmartSource, RedPlum and General Mills coupons, see Sunday Coupon Preview.

Dominick’s has a Sunday ad with a coupon for $10 off a frozen Butterball or Jennie-O turkey, with $35 minimum purchase. This is always a fun game: Hunt for the smallest turkey you can find and see if you can get it free.

The rest of the sales listed in the Dominick’s ad look the same as those listed in the Wednesday Dominick’s ad.

They’re also advertising the new Just for U iPhone app — download it and get free Ragu sauce. I’ll be running a $50 gift card giveaway related to that app on Monday!

Michael’s has a coupon for 40% off one regular-price item, plus they are selling a $30 iTunes multipack gift cards for $25, 11/13-11/26.

Menard’s has free-after-mail-in-rebate offers (your rebate comes in the form of a merchandise credit which you can spend at Menard’s):

  • MyKidz Comfort Patch 7-pack (like Vick’s VapoRub), free after $5 MIR, limit six.
  • Forever Bags Food Storage 16-count, free after $3 MIR, limit 2.

Other Menard’s deals I happened to notice: You can get an off-brand BigWheel for $19.98, which is $10 off. (In case you didn’t get one from the neighbor’s trash like we did, lol.) Designer’s Image brand white interior paint is buy one, get one free @ $11.99. Hand sanitizer spray is just 20 cents for a 2 oz. bottle.

Toys R Us deals:

  • There’s a coupon for a free $10 gift card when you spend $75 on qualifying items. (They always exclude diapers and stuff like that.)
  • There’s also a coupon for 20% off Fisher-Price bonus deals, which I guess is limited to the toys shown in the ad — a tool bench, basketball hoop, Kid Tough camera, T-Rex, Geotrax Batcave Radio Control Set or Hero World Deluxe Vehicles.
  • They’ll give you a $5 GC if you reserve The Smurfs movie.
  • Tuesday only, they’re giving $10 GCs for buying video games: Need for Speed: The Run, Halo, Saints Row, Lego Harry Potter, Kinect Disneyland, Assassins Creed Revelations.

OfficeMax has free-after-MaxPerks sharpies and 25% back on almost anything.
